John has worked as a director since 1984 working extensively in the mediums of Theater, TV and more recently, web broadcasts.

Ranging from large community events involving 1000's of people, to full hour long TV comedy formats, he has developed a broad range of  skills with musicals, children's theater, Shakespeare and improvisation formats featuring.

TV Directing and Coaching

Since his arrival in Köln, Germany.  John has been directing for TV companies:

Frei Schnauze: Hurricane Fernsehen. John helped establish this format and trained the talent on the art of improvisation, continuing as an adviser/coach until the end of the show.

Schillerstrasse: Hurricane Fernsehen.  John helped with the establishment of this award winning format, then got married.

RTL Comedy Nacht: Pacific TV,  John was employed as coach for the talent.

World Cup Comedy: Granada employed John to work on the pilot of this American format for Pro7.

Gott Sei Dank: Grundy light employed John for the pilot of this Australian format. He subsequently worked as stage director then coach to the talent for the series.
